David Tracy

David A. Tracy has practiced family law in Tulsa, Oklahoma for more than 30 years. He is the managing attorney for the Tulsa Family Law Center, PLLC. The Tulsa Family Law Center is dedicated to helping find appropriate solutions for families in legal crisis through litigation, arbitration, mediation, collaboration, and traditional negotiation.

Mr. Tracy became a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2012. He is an AAML-trained Matrimonial Arbitrator and Mediator. David is listed in Best Lawyers in America for family law.

David has served in leadership roles for the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section, Tulsa County Bar Association Family Law Section, and the Oklahoma Academy of Collaborative Professionals. He is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. David is a prolific teacher to fellow professionals and law students on family law topics, with more than 60 presentations to his credit, on topics ranging from prenuptial agreements to post-decree enforcement issues. He is the author of “Long-Arm Jurisdiction In Oklahoma Divorce Actions” published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal in 1996, and “Collaborative Law – Beyond Winning” published in the Tulsa Lawyer in 2004. David currently serves on the Board of Editors for the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section Practice Manual.

David graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law in 1983, and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting in 1976. In his spare time, David enjoys jogging, blogging about family law, and singing baritone in the Tulsa Chorale.
